Job Title: Quality Control (QC) Technician
Job Description:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Quality Control (QC) Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality of materials and packaging components through a variety of testing and administrative tasks. You will support the QC department by performing sampling, dimensional testing, and logging samples and reagents in LIMS, while maintaining a clean and organized laboratory environment. Additionally, you will play a key role in the annual product review process.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform sampling of incoming materials and packaging components to ensure compliance with quality standards.
- Conduct dimensional testing of materials to verify that they meet specifications and requirements.
- Log reagents and samples accurately in the Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS).
- Maintain and clean labware to ensure a sterile and organized laboratory environment.
- Assist in the preparation and execution of the annual product review process to evaluate product performance and quality trends.
Qualifications:
- A degree in a scientific field is a plus
- Prior experience in a laboratory or quality control environment is preferred.
- Knowledge of LIMS or similar laboratory management systems is a plus.
- Ability to follow strict quality control procedures and maintain attention to detail.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
