Kelly Science, Engineering and Telecom a managed solution provider and business unit of Kelly Services , is currently hiring a Safety DRI Engineer for a long-term contract at one of our top Global Medical Device Manufacturing clients located in Jacksonville and West Palm Beach, FL .

We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Safety Engineer to oversee construction safety management for our facility construction projects at these locations.
The ideal candidate will have relevant degrees and certifications , substantial experience in construction safety roles , and a strong understanding of OSHA regulations and safety standards. This role is crucial in ensuring the safety and well-being of all personnel involved in the project, from start to finish.
Key Responsibilities :
- Provide dedicated safety oversight for all facility construction projects.
- Initiate work permits, and ensure compliance with safety regulations
- Conduct toolbox talks to educate and inform workers about safety practices.
- Primary safety liaison between the Project Manager and contractors.
- Monitor, and enforce safety protocols to prevent accidents and maintain a safe working environment.
- Conduct regular site inspections to identify potential hazards.
- Develop and implement safety policies and procedures.
- Maintain and update safety records and documentation.
- Investigate accidents and incidents to determine causes and implement preventive measures.
- Provide safety training and education programs for employees and contractors. - Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal safety regulations.
- Prepare and present safety reports to management.
- Collaborate with engineers, architects, and other professionals to ensure project safety from design to completion.
