Debug Technicians (Florence, Kentucky)
Role
New for 2025- Our client, a global design, manufacturing, supply chain, and product management services company, is hiring a new, very large team of Debug Technicians Multiple shifts available, Contract to Hire roles. (Candidates looking for short-term work, we still want to talk to you, but this isn’t for you). Rates- Up to $24 an hour plus shift differentials. These roles are to staff their brand new building, shifts available:
6a-6p. Sunday through Tuesday, every other Wednesday.
6p-6a. Sunday through Tuesday, every other Wednesday.
6a-6p. Thursday through Saturday, every other Wednesday.
6p-6a. Thursday through Saturday, every other Wednesday.
OR
6a-6p. Monday through Wednesday, every other Thursday.
6p-6a. Monday through Wednesday, every other Thursday.
6a-6p. Friday through Sunday, every other Thursday.
6p-6a. Friday through Sunday, every other Thursday.

Summary
As a Debug Technician, you will play a crucial role in diagnosing and repairing basic powered functional test failures to a component level on electronic circuit board assemblies. Utilizing your proficiency in electronic test and measurement equipment, you'll contribute to the efficiency of assembly diagnosis by working with assembly documentation, including Schematics, BOM’s, EC documents, Visuals, Debug, Testing tools, and procedures. Collaborate with the Test Engineering department in an ongoing data evaluation program, ensuring the highest quality in our electronic products.
Qualifications
Strong mathematical aptitude, including probability, statistical inference, and fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry.
Effective communication skills to interact with managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
Proficiency in operating a personal computer with a Windows-based operating system and knowledge of common software packages.
Advanced PC skills, including the ability to write simple correspondence and read and understand visual aids.
Problem-solving abilities to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
Adaptable to standardized situations with occasional or no variables.
Additional Skills
The ideal candidate will possess mid-level knowledge in Linux commands, BMC/IPMI, and demonstrate a proven debug efficiency above 78% in Burn In. Candidates need to have proficiency in hardware knowledge, networking concepts and Linux domain at intermediate level. Knowledge of PCIe protocols.
