DevOps/Enablement Engineer
Pay rate: $57 to $64 per hour
Duration: 3 years
W2 contract only (No C2C)
Location- Urbandale, IA OR Milan, IL (Onsite)
DevOps/Enablement Engineer
Person could work from Urbandale Iowa or Milan Illinois
JOB DUTIES:
- Serve as a Developer on the ISG Operations & Enablement team including handling on-call duties.
- Developing automation for cloud accounts & infrastructure.
- Troubleshooting production issues and communicating root cause of problems to others.
- Working with teams globally to support the ISG initiatives.
- Developing scripts to drive automation for Applications and Accounts.
REQUIRED:
- Excellent communicator, written and verbal
- Ability to work in a global team environment
- Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or a related discipline and/or equivalent work experience
- 2 years of experience with application development and scripting languages
- Strong attention to detail and problem solving skills
- Self-motivated and able to work independently
- Able to participate in on-call rotation every month and handle off-hours support work
- Ability to travel domestically 10% of the time or less. Travel will mainly be to an ISG location.
- 2 years of experience with AWS (Amazon Web Services).
- AWS Certification (Developer/Architect/DevOps)
PREFERRED:
- 4 years of experience with Amazon Web Services [ECS, S3, ES, Lambda, ELB]
- 2 years of experience with Github Actions CI/CD
- 1 years of experience with Unix/Linux operating systems
- 1 years of experience with Elastic Search/Open Search administration or support
- 2 years of experience with infrastructure as code, automation, troubleshooting and root cause analysis
- 3 years of experience with Python, Boto, Terrafrom
- 3 years of experience with Typescript
- Experience with applications development environment, database, data administration and infrastructure capabilities and constraints
- Experience with Agile development processes including: Test Driven Development, Test Automation, PYTest.
