Laboratory Technician

LABORATORY TECHNICIAN

6 AM To 6PM (or Similar) Rotating Shifts Required

4 Days on and 4 Days Off

(MUST BE LOCAL TO BAYTOWN AREA)

Kelly Services has provided outstanding employment opportunities to the most talented individuals in the marketplace for over 60 years. Today, Kelly Services is searching for an experienced Laboratory Technician to join our team at a Fortune 500 Chemical Company in their Baytown, TX, Refinery.

Responsibilities

Lab Technician to perform sample processing in one of the following groups:

Physical testing, analytical, or GC.

The candidate should have academic or professional experience in the following methods:

API gravity, Water Distillations, Acidity, ASTM methods, Flash Room, Distillation Post, Pour Post, AKV Post, Dewax Post

Requirements

• Must have an B.S, Biology or Chemistry, or related equivalent related lab experience. Will consider A.A.S. with experience as well.
• Must be willing to work rotating shifts 6a-6p/6p-6a with 4 days on/off in a refinery environment
• Must be resilient and able to work a rotating shift.
• Must be able to work in a fast environment.
• Must have solid understanding of laboratory operations
