Kelly is hiring a Lab Technician for one of our clients in Eagan, MN
- There is some flexibility but requires the shift to be between 7 AM and 4 PM. This position requires full time onsite.

- 12 month contract (may be extended / converted)
Description : This position is part of the team supporting multiple divisions within Ecolab. The job includes chemical and application testing such as cleaning evaluation, damage analysis and materials compatibility testing. Samples are delivered from customers sites, coordinated by field sales associates. Data accuracy, quality and speed of lab report turn around are key objectives for the department.
Job Responsibilities
This position will contribute to the effectiveness and productivity of the Ecolab Sales and Service organization through accurate and efficient lab analysis. This position delivers results to cross-divisional corporate sales and service forces across North America. Specific accountabilities and duties include :
Required :
Basic understanding of chemistry, chemical safety and handling, and fundamental laboratory techniques
Proficient understanding of Microsoft Suite software including (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
Associate degree in chemistry, biology, or a related scientific field. (open to new graduates)
Preferred :
Experience with LIMS software or other laboratory sample and results management software.
Other software familiarity is a plus; such as (adobe, Hunter Labs, Imaging software)
Demonstrates knowledge of Ecolab’s cleaning and sanitation products, and advance knowledge of Ecolab’s equipment design, function and installation procedures
Bachelor’s degree in chemistry, biology, or a related scientific field.
Salary : $12 - $23
