About the Role
Kelly Science and Clinical is seeking a highly skilled Logistics Management Specialist to lead its manufacturing areas in South Haven, MI.
Job Summary:
The successful candidate will ensure operational effectiveness and financial performance by collaborating with the Plant Manager. This role requires strong leadership, versatility, and collaboration to meet safety, quality, and production targets.
Main Responsibilities:
- Regulatory Compliance: Manage API product production according to Process Safety Management (PSM) and FDA quality regulations.
- Team Leadership: Lead the operations team to achieve EHS, production, and quality goals.
- Staff Management: Effectively manage staff, promoting continuous improvement.
- Daily Production Review: Facilitate daily production review and planning with engineering and operations teams.
- Schedule Reviews: Manage weekly schedule reviews, including collaboration with business, Sales, R&D, QA, and other site functions.
- Performance Monitoring: Monitor monthly production performance against the Annual Operating Plan (AOP) and site absorption planning.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in an Engineering discipline, Chemical Engineering required.
- 7 years of experience in the chemical manufacturing industry, including leadership/management experience.
- cGMP manufacturing experience highly desirable.
- API CDMO manufacturing experience highly desirable.
