We are seeking a motivated Manufacturing Process Engineer to support the Performance Alloys and Composites manufacturing process at Kelly Science, Engineering, Technology & Telecom.
In this role, you will be responsible for managing various Quality System procedures, reporting key business metrics, collecting and presenting data, independently managing projects, and working with cross-functional teams. A critical responsibility is managing and facilitating activities for assigned business areas, as required with Customers, Operations, Purchasing, Engineering, Sales, and Marketing.
About the Job:
- Help manage and improve the AS9100D / ISO9001:2015 quality system.
- Prepare reports and presentations in support of customer, manufacturing, or vendor issues.
- Participate in area meetings to review Quality metrics and activities.
Requirements:
- BS engineering, chemistry, materials science, metallurgy, or other technical degree from an accredited college or university.
- Demonstrated problem-solving skills and experience with customer complaints, corrective actions, and 8Ds.
- Previous experience of 3 years' or more in quality engineering, preferably in a metals manufacturing environment.
- Working knowledge of AS9100D / ISO 9001:2015 quality systems.
