Kelly is hiring a Principal Engineer for one of our medical device clients in Batesville, IN
- Hybrid (onsite T / W / Th)
- Contract with possible extension : up to 2 years
- Pay : negotiable based on experience level (max $65 / hr)
Must Haves :
Knowledge of coated fabric composition and manufacturing processes
Knowledge of chemical compatibility related to polyurethane coated fabrics
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively with others in a team environment
Best practices experience designing soft goods including foam
Experience designing RF welded and sewn assemblies
Bachelor's degree required : yes - Master's is a plus
5-10 years of experience
Nice to Have :
Specialization in textiles
Design Control and Product development per 21 CFR Part 820
JOB SUMMARY :
Utilizes knowledge of textiles, foam, and chemicals to provide technical contribution to surface and material performance. Supports requirements, analysis, detailed design and verification activities for an assigned product, project or solution. Provides guidance to other engineers on design best practices and technical issue resolution, engages in design reviews, and helps resolve problems of medium complexity.
