Job Description
This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned professional to lead our QC laboratory team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of QC lab operations, including staff management, compliance with quality standards and regulations, and data analysis.
Main Responsibilities:
- Lead, train, mentor, and supervise a team of lab technologists.
- Develop and implement quality control procedures to ensure test accuracy and consistency.
- Maintain QC programs (stability, environmental monitoring, vendor qualifications, water testing, hazardous waste, preventive maintenance, data trending).
- Monitor QC data for trends and issues; Investigate and document out-of-specification results, deviations, and non-conformances.
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in a similar role, with expertise in pharmaceutical regulations and quality standards.
Requirements
To be considered for this position, applicants must possess:
- Bachelor's degree in chemistry or related field.
- Pharmaceutical QC lab experience, preferably in a leadership role.
- Thorough understanding of pharmaceutical regulations and quality standards.
- Knowledge of microbiological methodologies and experienced with analytical instruments (HPLC, FTIR, UV-Vis, etc.). Skilled in data analysis and interpretation.
- Strong knowledge of lab safety protocols and regulatory compliance.
