Duties And Responsibilities
While performing the duties of this job, the employee will regularly sit, stand, walk, talk, hear, and operate scientific lab equipment. Must be able to move around the lab and manufacturing floor, negotiating stairs, ramps and uneven floor surfaces with exposure to a typical shop environment, i.e. extreme heat, cold, dust, noise, fumes, and other elements. Must also be able to work in typical office conditions and sit to work at a computer. Must be able to reach up and across the body and manipulate equipment. Must wear required PPE, including respirator training and certification (specifically raw materials). This position requires standing, sitting, walking, bending, crouching, kneeling, stooping, pushing and pulling all day. Specifically, the individuals must be able to:

Duties And Responsibilities
- Formulate inks and perform color matches.
- Conduct laboratory testing and prepare project summaries.
- Lead technical problem-solving efforts for customers.
- Understand intellectual property and competitive protection.
- Develop expertise through reports, articles, and conferences.
- Prepare samples, operate and maintain printers, analyze data.
- Research, procure, and evaluate raw materials.
- Collaborate with departments, support production/QC, and attend seminars.
- Maintain lab equipment and attend required meetings.
- Adhere to company standards and safety requirements.
- Bachelor's degree in Chemistry or related field.
- Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency with various laboratory equipment such as microscopes, analytical balances, viscometers, spectrophotometers, conductivity meters, FTIR, etc.
- Proficiency in MS Office, chemical, and physical sciences.
- Ability to write technical reports and interpret scientific documents.
- Statistical data analysis, mentoring, and customer communication skills.
