Kelly is hiring a R&D Technician for one of our clients in Beloit, WI

- M-F 8am-5pm
- $23-$25/hr
R&D Technician:
- Assist scientists with weighing up ingredients for lab testing and pilot plant production.
-Assist scientists with making formulas in the lab.
-Support pilot plant production runs on variety of processing equipment.
-Support general lab organization by ordering lab supplies, sample stroage, shipping materials, organizing lab, cooler and freezer cleanouts and putting away dishes
-Ability to learn and run specialized lab equipment: Brookfield viscometer, Bostwick, pH probe, homogenizer.
-Submit analytical requests for product testing
General Skills:
-Accurately weigh ingredients
-Strong organizational skills
-Self motivated with good time management
-Good communication skills and ability to work across multiple teams
-Ability to lift 50 lbs
-Must be able to taste and smell chemicals, flavors and food products
-Science background or experience in food, laboratory or similar environment is preferred
Salary : $23 - $25
