Supplier Quality Engineer

  • Location : Fremont, CA - Hybrid
  • Type : W2 contract (NO C2C OR THIRD PARTY)
  • Length : Until 8 / 2025 (Contract extension expectation)
  • Pay Rate – $45 – $51 hourly
  • Work Authorization - Must be able to work in the U.S. with approved authorization status.

What You'll Do :

  • Collaborates with suppliers to maintain a database of collected material information (SDS, test reports) and environmental compliance documentation.
  • Assists with maintaining and updating documents and records.
  • Monitor and assess new environmental regulations and provide updates to internal stakeholders.
  • Supporting various Sustaining / Product Engineering material changes throughout our product portfolio.
  • Supplier Communication / Data Collection.
  • Contacting suppliers to request additional compliance documentation or clarify regulatory requirements.
  • Updating Documentation.
  • Collecting, reviewing, and analyzing compliance documentation to identify any non-compliance risks.
  • Maintaining Databases.
  • Updating and organizing internal databases with regulatory information and material compliance records.
  • Process Improvements.
  • Supporting internal teams with remediation activity for compliance-related activities.

    • Qualifications :

  • Supplier Quality Experience
  • Software proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook
  • Science, engineering, environmental degree
  • Top 3 skills? Communication, Attention to detail / Organizational skills, ability to learn quickly
