Job Title: UAT Tester
Pay rate: $35 - $42 per hour
Duration: 4 months
W2 contract only (No C2C)
Location- Chicago, IL, 60601
3 days onsite in Chicago and 2 days remote
Responsibilities:
- Develop test scenarios and test cases.
- Execute test cases for User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
- Participate in or facilitate test scenario and result reviews.
- Communicate with the UAT lead throughout the testing life cycle, ensuring timely escalation of any perceived or legitimate issues to the test lead and/or business contact.
- Collaborate with Developers, System Analysts, and Business Analysts to support defect analysis, reproduction, and documentation.
- Translate high-level business requirements into functional specifications for the IT organization and manage changes to those specifications.
Candidate Must Have:
- Familiarity with testing business rules to create both positive and negative test cases.
- Experience working on Agile methodology projects.
- Ability to build standard or automated regression test suites.
- Strong analytical and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while performing well as part of a team.
