Application Technician

Here at Kelly we are seeking a self-motivated individual with excellent time management skills to join our team as a Application Technician for the 3rd shift 3pm-11pm. Payrate : $18-$19.The purpose of this job is to apply Tungsten Carbide and Stellite to various part geometries..

Key Job Responsibilities :

Application : Apply Tungsten Carbide and Stellite per SOPs and drawings using micrometers, calipers, tape measures, etc. Maintain safety while handling razor blades and trimming tools.

Mixing Ultraflex Slurry : Perform mixing and application according to specified recipes.

Digital Skills : Basic computer proficiency for using Excel, navigating work instructions / drawings, and job confirmations in the MII system.

Key Job Accountabilities :

Safety : Adhere to all safety policies and procedures.

Production : Ensure products meet quantity and style specifications and follow SOPs.

Communication : Report safety, quality, and product issues to supervisors, team members, and across shifts.

Education and Experience :

Must have a High School diploma or GED.

Work Environment :

Controlled temperatures and dust collection systems.

Use of safety glasses, safety shoes, gloves, and N95 masks required.

Physical Demands :

Eight hours of standing with intermittent walking, reaching, sitting, and bending.

Lifting parts weighing up to 33 pounds.

Problem Solving :

Follow work instructions and inspection standards.

Communicate issues with the supervisor.
