What’s a typical day as a Forklift Driver?
- Operate sit down electric forklift
- Move and wrap pallets
- Load and unload trucks
- Prepare and complete warehouse orders for delivery or pickup
- Maintain shipping supplies to ensure orders ship on schedule
- Ensure loads are accurate before departure from the warehouse
- Use RF scanner
- Some data entry using SAP software.
This job might be an outstanding fit if you have:
- High school diploma or GED
- 1 yr. Manufacturing Warehouse experience, preferably in a chemical or food processing facility
- 6 months forklift experience
- Basic computer knowledge-use of Microsoft Office products and SAP software preferred
- Must be able to frequently stand, walk, kneel, reach, climb, pull, and bend with full range of body motion.
- Ability to lift 50 pounds repetitively throughout the day
