Kelly Services in partnership with a precision machining shop, is seeking a highly skilled and experienced CNC Shop Production Supervisor to oversee the operations, quality, and output of the CNC machining shop. This working manager position requires technical expertise, leadership skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with various departments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee and lead a team of CNC machinists.
• Guarantee high-quality machining outcomes by overseeing processes and applying quality control standards.
• Handle programming and setup tasks for CNC machines, ensuring precise tolerances.
• Educate and support CNC machinists by sharing machining techniques and best practices.
• Work closely with the manufacturing manager, general manager, president, and engineering department to sync shop activities with company objectives.
• Address and resolve machining and production issues swiftly.
• Keep track of tools, materials, and equipment required for CNC functions.
• Implement and uphold safety measures to ensure a secure working environment.
• Organize and manage production schedules to meet deadlines and customer demands.

Qualifications:

• Demonstrated experience as a CNC machinist and programmer with a minimum of 5 years in programming and precision machining in a job shop setting.
• In-depth technical knowledge of CNC machining processes, programming languages (like G-code), and CAD/CAM software.
• Strong problem-solving capabilities and a keen eye for detail.
• Proven leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent organizational and communication abilities.
• Capability to collaborate effectively with various departments and stakeholders.
