Supportive team culture What’s a typical day as a Material Handler? You’ll be :
Building orders of product for customers using walk-behind or ride-on pallet jacks
Lifting up to 50 lbs. and working quickly to load orders onto trucks for shipping
Retrieving and placing quantities of cases of product onto pre-determined pallets as instructed by the Pick Ticket
Transporting pallets of stacked product to different areas of the warehouse using a Powered Industrial Truck (PIT)
Assisting in warehouse cleanliness and housekeeping
Performing daily PIT checklist and alerting management of any issues
Correcting any mistakes in product and quantity as informed by the Checker
Performing miscellaneous activities to support efficient warehouse operations This job might be an outstanding fit if you :
Have the ability to work in a fast-paced atmosphere while walking and repetitively lifting 30 lbs.
Can lift up to 75 lbs.as needed
Are able to collaborate within a team environment
Can coordinate and organize efficient and dependable warehouse processes
Can adapt to different work areas and meet minimum expectations
Can read and interpret instructions from a computer screen
Have an attention to detail and can differentiate packages
Can work in a noisy and non-climate controlled environment (hot in summer, cold in winter)
Are a self-starter who takes initiative and seeks value-add opportunities
Are flexible with schedules and hours as they change with business demands
Have a PIT (Powered Industrial Truck) Certification : Pallet Jack preferred Preferred Qualifications :
