Axiom Developer

Job Summary :

Our client is seeking an Axiom Developer who will be participating in series of development activities across various projects in the Axiom space. They will also be participating in BAU support activities such as patch updates and enhancements to support regular filings. They will be supporting the Global Regulatory System, a regulatory reporting project using on premise vended product from Adenza (Axiom SL). The scope includes regulatory reporting requirements in APAC, EMEA and NA regions. The APAC & NA instances have been live in production for over one year and the current focus in on implementing EMEA regulatory reports in Axiom SL. This is a hybrid opportunity located in Chicago, Illinois!

Duties :

• Create Axiom objects such ss Data Sources, Data Models, Shorthand’s, Portfolios, Aggregations along with other data mapping activities
• Mapping and configuring free form reports, tabular reports and automation of Axiom workflows
• Configuring APAC taxonomy reports and EMEA regulatory reporting initiatives is must
• Review project related documents such as BRD, FSD and understand the design and solutions architecture with minimal guidance
• Development of ETL jobs, Shell scripting and delivering the functionality details in technical specifications
• Development and review of PL SQL & other DB code to support date sourcing into Axiom
• Ensure code written meets the predefined company and departments standards
• Performance tuning experience both inside the Axiom controller view as well as at the DB level
• Preparation and execution of detailed unit test cases
• Creation of Data Sources, Data Models, Shorthand’s, Portfolios, Aggregations, Fee Form and Tabular Report and workflows using Axiom controller view tool based on Regulatory report requirements
• Migration of Axiom components from one environment to another
