Job Summary:
Our client is seeking a Financial Analyst to join their team! This position is located in Amarillo, Texas.
Duties:
- Analyze and reconcile accounts
- Prepare and annotate variance reports
- Work with operating plans to create supporting financial forecasts and budgets
- Perform research to understand the accounting consequences of alternative approaches
- Responsible for conducting financial analysis projects and special statistical studies
- Analyze performance returns for accuracy, then communicate and review results with investment professionals
Desired Skills/Experience:
- Thorough knowledge of accounting and finance principles
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to present financial analysis to management
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint software
- Working knowledge of popular financial management applications
