Job Summary:
Our client is seeking a UX Designer to join their team! This position is located in Miami Florida and New York City, New York.
Duties:
- Investigate and analyze user experience design requirements for digital assets
- Develop and conceptualize a comprehensive UI/UX design strategy aligned with the brand
- Produce high-quality UX design solutions, including wireframes, visual and graphic designs, flow diagrams, storyboards, site maps, and prototypes
- Design UI elements and tools such as navigation menus, search boxes, tabs, and widgets for digital assets
- Test and optimize UI elements, including CTAs, banners, page layouts, page designs, page flows, and target links for landing pages
- Collaborate with the marketing team, internal stakeholders, and external designers to create and deliver tailored digital user experiences
- Provide guidance on UX research methodologies and testing activities to analyze and predict user behavior
- Ensure adherence to style standards for typography, color schemes, and graphic design
- Generate and refine multiple credible design solutions based on user analysis and feedback
- Exhibit proficiency in shared design tools and software
- Identify and address design challenges and opportunities within project briefs, recommending effective solutions
- Participate in both divergent and convergent design processes to explore and refine ideas
- Work independently with minimal guidance to solve complex, open-ended design problems
- Document and iterate on design solutions through thorough exploration and refinement
- Evaluate and refine concepts based on insights gained from prototypes and user testing
Desired Skills/Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in design, human-computer interaction, or a related field
- 5 years of relevant work experience in UI/UX design
- Proficiency in high-fidelity prototyping and user experience testing
- Strong understanding of user-centric design principles and methodologies
- Experience designing technical and/or business web applications
- Expertise in Figma and other industry-standard design tools
- Ability to translate complex technical requirements into intuitive and user-friendly experiences
- Portfolio of UX design work from pencil and whiteboard, to wireframes and prototypes
- Experience with JIRA
- Experience with Smart Sheets and/or Google Suite
