Location: Chandler, AZ
️ Duration: 12 months
⏰ Shift: Must be flexible and willing to travel
Responsibilities:
- Install semiconductor processing equipment ️
- Maintain records and reports as required
- Coordinate activities with peers, supervisors, and customers to minimize equipment downtime and interruptions
- Order and install parts
- Respond to emergency service calls
- Instruct customer operating technicians on system operation and maintenance
- Perform upgrades and modifications to equipment as needed
Qualifications:
- Associates degree in electronics, engineering, or other applicable field; or Army experience is preferred
- 2 years previous experience in maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting of semiconductor capital equipment
- Excellent customer interface skills
- Mechanical aptitude and ability to use appropriate tools ️
- Thorough understanding of technical issues involving the maintenance, repair, and/or installation of equipment and company procedures
️ Physical Requirements:
- Job duties often performed in confined areas in a clean room environment, in awkward positions and/or in high places ⚠️
- Mechanical aptitude, manual dexterity, and ability to lift/carry objects up to 35 pounds required
- May require bending/stooping/crawling/climbing ♂️
- May require the use of Personal Protection Equipment and adherence to safety procedures when working with hazardous elements or conditions (chemicals, electric currents, high voltage, moving mechanical parts, radiation, etc.) ⚡
- Occasional overnight travel to TEL factory, training facilities, and customer locations may be required
