Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Office Manager to oversee our office operations and ensure efficient administrative processes. Duties
- Manage daily office operations, including scheduling, correspondence, and supply management.
- Oversee financial activities such as accounts payable/receivable, bank reconciliation, and account analysis.
- Prepare and maintain financial reports in accordance with GAAP standards.
- Utilize accounting software like QuickBooks or Xero for accurate financial reporting and record-keeping.
- Assist with governmental accounting requirements and ensure compliance with tax regulations.
- Conduct regular audits of financial data to ensure accuracy and integrity.
- Support staff with administrative tasks and provide training on office procedures as needed.
- Maintain organized filing systems for both physical and digital documents.
- Collaborate with management to develop budgets and monitor expenditures.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as an Office Manager or in a similar administrative role.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, including corporate accounting and tax regulations.
- Proficiency in QuickBooks, Xero, or similar accounting software is preferred.
- Familiarity with GAAP standards and governmental accounting practices is a plus.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Strong analytical skills for account analysis and financial report writing.
- Proficient in 10 key typing for efficient data entry tasks.
- Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, to interact effectively with team members and stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
