What are the responsibilities and job description for the Kennel Attendant position at Kelsey's Groom Shop and Boarding?
Kelsey’s Groom Shop and Boarding located in Minden is looking for a kennel attendant. Our kennel staff is responsible for all the animals in our care, while having a bit of fun with our team! We have the highest pet care standards around and expect our team members to be rockstars!
Duties:
-This job requires you to be on your feet 5 hours a day and be able to lift heavy objects.
-Cleaning up after animals. This is a very dirty job :)
-Walking dogs feeding and general cleaning.
-Ensuring each animal in our care receives the love and attention they deserve!
-You will also be cross trained as a bather in the groom shop to fill in where needed.
-Have a great attitude!
Required skills:
-Positive, hardworking attitude
-Reliable
-Detail-oriented
-Be able to self-start and self-manage
- Must be comfortable around all sizes and breeds of dogs and cats
-Your love and animals and work ethic is more important than previous professional pet experience
Job Requirements:
-This is a part time position. This could lead to full time position for the right person.
-Must be available in the mornings (8-9am start)
-Must be available weekends and some major holidays.
