Job Summary:
We are seeking a motivated and results-oriented Window and Door Salesperson to join our team. This role involves generating leads, building relationships with customers, providing product information and quotes, and following up on sales of our range of windows and doors. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter with excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of working independently while also contributing to the overall team success.
Responsibilities:
- Generating and following up on leads through various channels (e.g., referrals, networking, showroom traffic).
- Meeting with potential customers to understand their needs and preferences for windows and doors.
- Providing detailed product information, including features, benefits, and options.
- Preparing accurate and competitive sales quotes.
- Presenting proposals and effectively following up on sales.
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with customers.
- Keeping up-to-date on product knowledge, industry trends, and competitor offerings.
- Maintaining accurate sales records and reports.
- Representing the company professionally at all times.
- Adhering to all company policies and procedures.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in sales, preferably within the window and door industry or a related construction/home improvement field.
- Strong understanding of different window and door types, materials, and installation processes (preferred).
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
- Proven ability to build rapport with customers and close sales.
- Self-motivated and able to work independently.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team and collaborate with colleagues.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Detail-oriented and committed to accuracy.
- Valid driver's license and a clean driving record (DMV).
- Proficiency in basic computer applications (e.g., email, word processing, using the internet).
Compensation:
Salary is Dependent on Experience (D.O.E.).
