Job Summary
Duties may include but are not limited to:
Sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming floors
Cleaning windows and glass doors
Restocking toilet paper and soap dispensers
Assisting with trash removal and recycling
The Building Caretaker will also assist office and cafeteria personnel in lifting and storing supplies and equipment, secure all rooms at the end of each work shift, and establish cooperative working relationships with teachers, specialists, students, and other staff members.
Our ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our school facilities. This includes sweeping, scrubbing, stripping, waxing, polishing floors, and cleaning walls, furniture, and chalkboards. The successful candidate must be able to follow written and oral directions, work independently, and complete assigned duties on a regular basis.
