We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Custodian I to join our team at Kelseyville Unified School District. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our facilities, ensuring a safe and healthy environment for students and staff.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Clean and dust surfaces, including walls, furniture, and equipment.
- Maintain floors by sweeping, scrubbing, stripping, waxing, and polishing concrete, linoleum, tile, and wood surfaces.
- Empty trash and recyclables from classrooms, offices, and other areas.
- Restock paper products and supplies as needed.
- Perform daily cleaning tasks in restrooms, including disinfecting sinks, toilets, and mirrors.
- Assist maintenance personnel with lifting and storing equipment and supplies.
- Secure buildings and ensure that all rooms are locked at the end of each work shift.
