Role Overview
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced educator to join our team as a Special Education Instructor. As a key member of the Child Study Team, you will work closely with colleagues to design and implement individualized educational programs for students with developmental disabilities.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Collaborating with the Child Study Team to assess pupils and design individualized instructional plans.
- Delivering instruction to pupils assigned, utilizing special techniques, equipment, and materials specified in the plan.
- Developing and implementing strategies to motivate pupils with short attention spans and difficulty working independently.
- Preparing pupils for participation in community settings by teaching functional skills.
