Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement individualized instructional plans for pupils with severe and moderate disabilities.
- Collaborate with the Child Study / I.E.P. Team to assess pupil needs and monitor progress.
- Provide instruction using special techniques, equipment, materials, and related services as specified in the instructional plan.
- Motivate pupils with short attention spans and extreme difficulty in working independently.
- Teach functional skills not typically taught in the regular classroom.
Qualifications:
- Credential or credentials appropriate to perform assigned tasks.
- Ability to work effectively with children, school personnel, and community agency personnel.
