Key Responsibilities
- Precisely choose items from shelves, prepping them for shipping according to detailed order instructions.
- Maintain orderly inventory by appropriately labeling and storing items.
- Check items for discrepancies and verify order details.
- Operate equipment like forklifts proficiently and safely.
- Securely package orders, ensuring they are ready for outbound delivery.
- Follow safety mandates while keeping an immaculate workspace.
- Work closely with fellow team members to guarantee punctual and high-standard order delivery. Aid in audits by providing precise and current records on production methods.
Requirements
- Minimum: High school diploma or GED
- Excellent attention to detail coupled with efficiency.
- Strong communication and collaborative skills.
Preferred
- Prior Order Picker or warehouse operational experience.
- Forklift license preferred.
Operational Hours: Normal work schedule is typically 7 am – 3:30 pm, though there may be the need for additional hours depending on operational requirements.
Physical Needs: Tasks demand sufficient physical ability for warehouse work, facing different temperature conditions, and involving tasks like climbing ladders, using equipment, and occasional lifting up to 50 lbs.
