Summary :
The HR Generalist will support a manufacturing environment by performing a broad range of HR-related duties. This role is responsible for administering key HR functions such as recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, compliance, benefits administration, and HRIS management. The HR Generalist will work closely with management and employees to foster a positive workplace culture and ensure smooth HR operations.
Duties / Responsibilities :
- Manage the full-cycle recruitment process, including sourcing, interviewing, and selecting candidates for various roles in the manufacturing environment.
- Coordinate and conduct new hire orientations and ensure a smooth onboarding experience for all employees.
- Serve as a point of contact for employee inquiries, concerns, and issues, providing guidance and resolving conflicts.
- Assist in conducting investigations related to employee relations matters and recommend corrective actions where needed.
- Promote a positive work culture by driving engagement initiatives and employee recognition programs.
- Maintain and update employee records in the HRIS system, ensuring data accuracy and compliance with company policies and legal requirements.
- Administer benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and leave management.
- Support payroll processing and address employee inquiries regarding payroll, benefits, and time off.
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal employment laws and regulations.
- Assist in updating and implementing HR policies, procedures, and best practices.
- Identify training needs and assist in coordinating internal and external training programs.
- Support employee development initiatives, including performance reviews and career development planning.
- Contribute to various HR projects, such as employee engagement surveys, and process improvement efforts.
- Collaborate with the HR team to develop and implement HR strategies that align with the company’s objectives.
