Description
RD&S is adding a PLC Programmer to the team! Responsibilities include programming customized control systems for industrial and commercial refrigeration systems, and developing customized user interface graphics packages using Wonderware, RS View and other software. Candidate should have strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to interact well with customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop PLC programs for multiple systems
- Develop User Interfaces for multiple systems
- Provide training to operators, supervisors, and administrative personnel at the customer site
- Provide onsite and offsite technical support to customers
- Generate project specific documentation using standard company formats
- Problem solving and troubleshooting hardware and software
- Able to read electrical schematics
- Able to handle multiple tasks, have excellent attention to detail, and be willing and able to learn new technologies quickly
- Able to troubleshoot and debug PLC programs
- Able to use existing standards, procedures, and practices
- Have knowledge of Industrial networks and protocols
- Have knowledge of Motor Control and Process Instrumentation
- Able to Identify and resolve technical risks in assigned work
