POSITION PURPOSE
The BID Manager will oversee large complex Data Centre RFQ´s globally, understanding the amount of required resources and oversee the available capacity, coordinate and connect all internal parties to meet requested timelines and oversee costing. This role will serve to oversee the entire RFQ process and coordinate required resources to ensure the offering is delivered on time and in a clear and structured way. The BID Manager is also responsible to create uniform standards for the offer process and documents as well as building up a capacity planning and monitoring of time management for the internal application work.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Coordination of the entire process of creating an offer from the decision to the follow-up.
- Support examination of requirements, chances of success and economic viability of preparing the offer.
- Quality assurance - ensuring that the offer corresponds to the formal and content-related specifications of the tender and is received by the tendering authority on time.
- Documentation of the offer creation process.
- Follow-up and coordinate implementation of change requests.
- Analysis of the offer creation process.
- Continuous optimization of offer management.
- Creation of uniform standards for the offer process.
