The Role
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive ERP Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the accurate and efficient entry of Bills of Material (BOM) and Bills of Lading (BOL) into our ERP system (Made-2-Manage). This role involves close collaboration with the production and purchasing departments to ensure seamless operations and technical clarity.
What you will be responsible for:
- Accurately enter and maintain Bills of Material in the Made-2-Manage ERP system.
- Ensure all Bills of Lading are correctly prepared and entered into the ERP system.
- Work closely with the production team to prepare tools and production stations.
- Provide ongoing support to the production department to ensure smooth operations.
- Assist the purchasing department with technical clarifications and ensure all materials are correctly specified and ordered.
- Detail-oriented and proactive
- Self-motivated with a positive and optimistic attitude; team orientation with good leadership skills – empathy and motivating cross-functional team members to common goal; display persistence, vision and positive attitude.
- Good organizational skills and capable of independent work. Able to work effectively with all levels of management.
- Regular attendance, ability to arrive at work punctually, ability to work on–site.
- Ability to work cooperatively with others, ability to deal respectfully with the public, customers, vendors, other employees, managers, and executive management.
- Ability to perform multiple tasks concurrently, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, ability to interchange with others in the department.
- Travel required up to 10% of time.
COMPETENCY OR POSITION REQUIREMENTS (knowledge, skills, and abilities)
- Previous experience with ERP systems, preferably Made-2-Manage, and familiarity with BOM and BOL processes.
- Personal computer skills including electronic mail, record keeping, routine database activity, word processing, spreadsheet, etc. Proficient in using ERP systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE (required levels)
- 2 years or more experience in ERP systems and BOM creation.
- Professional certification related to ERP systems or supply chain management is preferred.
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field preferred.
