Reporting to the VP Sales Americas, as part of the leadership team for The Americas Sales Organization, you'll step into a dynamic role where your ideas and experiences are actively sought and can make a tangible difference.

This role is responsible for directing sales of company branded products to a mix of customers including but not limited to: engine manufacturers, engine distributors, transmission manufacturers, locomotive, military and defense. Focus region is USA, Canada and Mexico. We are looking therefore for a sales leader with experience within these sectors and the ability and drive to strategically manage customers (new and existing) to realise the opportunity the market holds.

What you will be responsible for:
- Focus on profitable sales within the specific Transportation market
- Professional networking to build relationships with executives and decision-makers at targeted clients, to support current and future sales opportunities
- Ability to maintain client relationships, creating value for client accounts from idea to outcome
- Lead the selling strategy creating short and long-term plans based on research and deep understanding of business and technology trends.
- Ability to train and develop talent in sales organization as well as deliver performance reviews
- Maintain Customer Relationship Management tools for self and direct reports.
- Provide input in budget and financial management activities
- Coach and implement formal sales process training and management
- Weekly, Monthly, Quarterly, Annual forecasting for sales in the market
Some of the skills that we would expect to see on the application however are:
- Strong engine, compressor, rotating equipment and related technical acumen will be required
- Understanding of network interconnection
- Ideal experience includes consultative solution selling
- Strong people skills in order to develop and maintain relationships with customers
- Excellent organizational and leadership skills
- Goal Oriented
- Outstanding customer service and communication skills
- Bachelor’s degree
- 3-5 years of equipment, Technology, and Sales experience required
- Strong knowledge in CRM software, Excel, PowerPoint, TEAMS and Microsoft Office Suite
