What are the responsibilities and job description for the HR Intern position at Kem Krest?
The Human Resources Intern will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in supporting business needs in a HR capacity. Currently enrolled in a bachelor’s degree program in HR, Marketing, Business or related field (Junior or Senior).
Key Responsibilities:
- Support culture initiatives and strategy by providing hands-on assistance for employee engagement programs, events and activities. Increasing employee engagement through company-sponsored activities.
- Assist in developing streamlined communication methods, including print and digital communication platforms, in an environment with multiple languages.
- Provide employee support with HR information system and make suggestions to improve employee self-service capabilities.
- Provide associate and organizational support by assisting with policies, practices, programs, and regulations.
- Provide support to the Human Resource team, including but not limited to recruiting, communication, training, analysis and engagement.
- Assist in executing daily tasks, with a focus on continuous improvement and efficiency.
- Contribute to an action and solutions-oriented team, partnering with leaders to develop HR and business acumen throughout the internship.
- Prepare and deliver a presentation to the Executive Leadership Team, outlining lessons learned and completed projects at the end of the internship.
Requirements:
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Willingness to problem solve and research tools and resources to improve operations.
- Positive attitude, eagerness to learn, and strong attention to detail.
