ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES FOR ACCOUNTING
A. Report directly to Director of Program Development and indirectly with the Community Outreach Specialist.
B. Collections:
a. General Collections of past due accounts and outstanding revenue.
b. Aging collections in billing software.
c. Update supervisors of collection status.
d. Collecting and processing receipts
e. Assisting with client payments and copays
f. Sending off all correspondence of providers to Billing Dept.
B. Adhere to personnel policies and procedures outlined by management

MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS
Education, Training, and Experience Required:
- Preferred Associates Degree or 3 years’ experience in billing and collections.
- Valid driver’s license required
- Proficiency in PowerPoint and Microsoft Office products as well as Quickbooks
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills
- Displays tact in dealing with staff and management team
- Willingness to be flexible in adjusting to new and changing situations
