DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: |
REQUIRED SKILLS & ABILITIES: |
- Strategic Planning & Implementation- Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with organizational goals and objectives. Analyze market trends and forecast procurement needs. Identify opportunities for cost reduction and process improvement.
- Supplier Management- Manage and maintain strong relationships with suppliers. Evaluate and select suppliers based on quality, cost and reliability. Negotiate contracts and all service agreements. Monitor supplier performance and mitigate issues.
- Procurement Operations- Oversee the entire procurement process, from requisition to payment. Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and ethical standards. Manage inventory and logistics. Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPI’s) related to procurement.
- Team Leadership & Development – Lead and motivate the procurement team, while providing guidance and support to the procurement team. Communicate effectively with stakeholders, including suppliers and internal team members.
- Risk Management: Identify and mitigate potential risks in the procurement process. Develop contingency plans for supply chain disruptions.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE: |
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of procurement experience within the HVAC, kitchen equipment or service industry. Must have a strong financial acumen, financial reporting and a proven track record of successfully managing procurement teams. Proficient in procurement best practices, industry trends and regulations.
- Negotian Skills: Strong negotiation, contract management, and vendor evaluation skills. Must be analytical and the ability to use data to drive decisions.
- Physical Requirements: Stand, bend, and travel overnight to various branch locations.
- Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills to interact effectively with all employees throughout the organization.
- Time Management: Ability to manage time effectively, prioritize tasks, and work independently or as part of a team.

- Travel 25% to various branch locations
