Job Summary
Oversees the preventive and corrective maintenance on all fleet vehicles, construction equipment, and major tools used in HVAC and Electrical construction and service. Coordinates activities of shop staff and venders to troubleshoot and determine root cause of operating problems, and to perform repairs, modifications, and upgrades as necessary. Manages office upkeep, housekeeping, grounds keeping, and all logistics involving shop material, equipment, and tools.
Responsibilities (Include but not limited to):
· Operate company vehicles and equipment
· Ensure preventive maintenance is completed on schedule
· Manage GPS units and fleet records
· Manage movement of equipment, tools, or material to and from job sites
· Execute basic vehicle/equipment maintenance activities when needed
· Execute building and grounds maintenance, repairs, and housekeeping as necessary
· Coordinate vender services and logistics for shop related issues
· Manage warehouse logistics
· Supervise daily activities of the Shop Mechanics
Qualifications (Skills, Education, Certifications, Experience):
Required:
· Possess a valid drivers license
· 3 years prior experience in vehicle or equipment maintenance service industry.
· Prior experience in a coordination or supervisory role
· Possess the resourcefulness to independently pursue solutions to vehicle and equipment issues using in house staff, OEM contacts, vender help, internet, etc.
· Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization and follow written and verbal instructions
· Excellent interpersonal skills
· Ability to work as a team member
· Excellent work ethic
· Ability to multi-task and prioritize tasks
· General computer knowledge required to maintain records, resource parts & materials and other general research.
Preferred:
· Prior experience as a service coordinator in auto repair shop
Physical Requirements and Working Conditions:
General Physical Requirements
· Medium work: Exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally and/or up to 20 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects.
Physical Activities

Pay: $21.00 - $26.00 per hour
