Position Summary:
KEMET Electronics Corporation is seeking a Distribution Development Representative.
Essential Functions:
- Grow profitable sales working closely with global distributors in your sales region
- Work closely with your sales director and sales reps to conduct quarterly business reviews
- Drive action items that grow sales in your regions
- Keep detailed meeting notes, and publish them to the team so all are aware
Competencies:
- Team Player, willing to work on shared goals with the sales team
- Competitive and willing to go the extra mile to win with the team
- Able to prioritize the most important activities in the day, week, month, and year
- Able to dive into the details and figure out what is increasing or decreasing sales
- Able to think on your feet and adapt to different difficult situations in front of customers and distributors
- Expert in Microsoft suite tools
- Convey a positive, competitive, and self-motivated attitude
Training:
- You will be trained in sales strategies to launch your career in technical sales.
- A mentor will be assigned to you for guidance during your journey.
Education and Experience:
- 4-year degree in a business or related field
- Experience working in teams, either in University, on sports teams, or in the work environment
Physical Requirements:
- Remains in a stationary position, often standing or sitting for prolonged periods
