What are the responsibilities and job description for the Account Manager position at KEMET?
The YAGEO group currently seeking a Sales Account Manager in the Detroit, Michigan area who will plan and carry out sales efforts at key OEM's through direct and distribution channels
Essential Functions :
- Coordinate and manage periodic reviews with customers and distributors. Manage distributor QBRs
- Identify and grow potential new customers
- Expand existing customers through cross selling
- Meet or exceed sales plan
- Develop relationships with key accounts and distribution partners
- Work with engineering and supply chain personnel at key accounts to design in KEMET and gain approval on AVL / BOM's
- Train distribution on all KEMET / YAGEO products
- Keep management informed of trends in market and advise any adverse issues which may impact ability to reach agreed upon goals
- Support Pricing Analyst with major RFQs
- Maintain high service level to current customers
- Develop further opportunities with current customers
- Develop targeted new customers
- Build intra-company teamwork between Customer Service / Production and the needs of the customer
- Forecasting Sales annually
- Assess marketplace for vulnerabilities in development of targeted Customer opportunities
