Summary :
KEMET, a YAGEO Group company, is seeking a detail-oriented Quality Engineer to join our team at the ICT. This role involves developing, implementing, and maintaining quality control activities for Tantalum capacitors.
Key responsibilities include maintenance of quality systems, investigation of root cause, preparation for and execution of internal / external audits, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement initiatives. The ideal candidate will possess strong problem-solving skills, a solid understanding of quality control methodologies, and experience in a manufacturing environment.
Job Description
- Provide manufacturing support for quality issues and product dispositions.
- Maintain documented quality system.
- Apply knowledge of Quality Core Tools.
- Lead 8D teams to drive root cause analyses and corrective and preventive action implementation.
- Gather & analyze data to support efforts to reduce cost & improve efficiencies.
- Work in cross function team atmosphere to ensure the delivery of high-quality components on schedule.
- Perform product, process of systems audits as appropriate to identify and address risk.
- Ensure conformance with industry standards and customer specifications.
