Responsibilities

- Conduct thorough assessments of clients' insurance needs and recommend suitable coverage options.
- Engage in outside sales activities to expand the client base, including networking and community involvement.
- Provide expert advice on benefits administration and insurance products, ensuring clients understand their options.
- Stay informed about market trends and changes in the insurance industry to provide accurate information to clients.
- Utilize telemarketing techniques to reach potential clients and schedule appointments.
- Maintain accurate records of client interactions and transactions in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve sales targets and enhance overall service delivery.
Requirements
- Proven experience in insurance sales or related fields such as retail sales or outside sales is preferred.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse clientele; bilingual or multilingual abilities are a plus.
- Knowledge of benefits administration and familiarity with HIPAA regulations is advantageous.
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
- A valid insurance license may be required based on state regulations.
