Maintenance Director

Kemper House Strongsville is looking for a caring, patient, and detail-oriented Maintenance Director for our Residential Care Facility.

The successful candidate should have a general knowledge of building systems, life safety systems (fire alarm, sprinklers, etc.), plumbing, electrical, HVAC, painting, carpentry, and general maintenance needs of a 24-hour facility.

This position is 40-hours per week, but also includes on-call responsibilities in case of emergency or urgent maintenance needs.

Main duties of this position include, but are not limited to,:

• Cleaning, Preparing, and Rehab of resident apartments
• General maintenance and care of facility
• Maintenance, cleaning, and repair of floors and carpeting
• Ensure for review and implementation of safety procedures
• Keep building in compliance with all State of Ohio, OSHA, and HUD rules and regulations
• Act as lead safety manager for facility ; ensure compliance with all Fire rules and regulations

Candidates must have a clean driving record and pass a criminal background check.

Knowledge of Ohio Department of Health rules and regulations not necessary, but preferred.
