Principal Duties And Responsibilities
Kemper interns will be exposed to the following concepts and experiences.
- Actively participate in the month-end close process for assigned areas of responsibility.
- Prepare journal entries and account reconciliations timely and accurately.
- Assist with ad hoc projects, including process documentation and updates, as assigned.
- Participate in regular team meetings and provide feedback regarding team initiatives.
- Junior or Senior status enrolled at University of Chicago, Northwestern University, University of Wisconsin-Madison, or Notre Dame University.
- Qualifying majors in an academic area related to financial services or insurance industry, such as, finance, data analytics, communications, accounting, or business administration.
- Non-business majors are welcome if strong interest in financial services and/or insurance industry.
- A minimum 3.0 GPA on a 4.0 GPA scale.
- This position is a hybrid role and may require work in the office 3-4 days a week.
- This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship.
