You will work on special projects that positively impact our business and our customers. Kemper is looking for students who love to problem solve and are willing to make real-life impact on projects that may involve the senior executives to front-line associates. We deliver meaningful experiences in various internship areas like Product Development, Claims, Operations, Finance, IT, Data Analytics, and much more. Are you ready to create your own journey by joining ours? This is a 10-week paid internship offering challenging projects that support Kemper’s strategic priorities.
Principal Duties And Responsibilities

Principal Duties And Responsibilities
Kemper interns will be exposed to the following concepts and experiences.
- Understand how data is used to meet business needs.
- Analyze and interpret data to identify trends, issues, and opportunities.
- Work across business areas, data, and technology to drive alignment on data definitions.
- Gain exposure to the full data lifecycle to support large-scale business objectives.
- Drive change through project management, technology improvements, and strategic initiatives.
- Junior or Senior status enrolled at: University of Chicago, Northwestern University, University of Wisconsin-Madison or University of Notre Dame.
- Qualifying majors in an academic area related to financial services or insurance industry, such as, finance, data analytics, communications, accounting, or business administration.
- Non-business majors are welcome if strong interest in financial services and/or insurance industry.
- A minimum 3.0 GPA on a 4.0 GPA scale.
- This position is a hybrid role and may require work in the office 3-4 days a week.
- This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship.
