Kemper is seeking a QA Automation Engineer for our Information Systems department. In this role you will evaluate project specifications and translate the specifications into a test plan. From the test plan, develop and execute test cases to ensure systems are working as per the detailed requirements. Works closely with QA leads, application developers, business users and other members of project teams.
Responsibilities :
- Review project specifications and requirements to identify areas suitable for automation testing.
- Collaborate with senior QA analysts to devise automation strategies and validate them with experienced team members.
- Develop and maintain automated test scripts using appropriate tools and frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Cypress).
- Create and execute automated test suites to verify system functionality and performance.
- Analyze test results and promptly report any issues, following through to resolution.
- Participate in test case reviews and provide feedback to improve test coverage and efficiency.
- Contribute to the enhancement and maintenance of automation frameworks and tools.
- Document automation processes, test scripts, and results thoroughly.
- Possess strong analytical skills to understand complex business logic.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate automated tests into CI / CD pipelines.
- Stay updated on emerging automation tools, techniques, and best practices.
- Provide mentorship and guidance to junior QA team members as needed.
Qualifications :
The range for this position is Hiring Range $68000 - $113400. When determining candidate offers, we consider experience, skills, education, certifications, and geographic location among other factors. This job is also eligible for our Kemper benefits package (Medical, Dental, Vision, PTO, 401k, etc.)
