Position Summary :
The Data Management Analyst will execute the responsibilities of Data Cataloging, Data Quality (DQ), and Master Data Management (MDM). The Analyst will partner with business stakeholders within data projects to catalog their data, implement DQ rules, and document master and reference data. This will involve executing the processes with them as well as training them going forward.
Position Responsibilities :
- Catalog data assets and critical data elements, execute hands-on tasks including writing definitions, asset tagging, glossary management, DQ rules, and lineage
- Research to find requested data assets in the organization
- Understand stakeholders and information experts across the enterprise to catalog and maintain metadata definitions and quality thresholds, train those data experts and create effective Data Management processes
- Monitor and report DQ issues including case management help desk and root cause analysis
- Manage MDM operational processes, such as match-merge-exception resolution
- Support the needs of the Data Governance Committee members : recommend projects for improvement (data asset research, data quality rule automation, master data sets, new policies and standards), maintain the enterprise data risk log, prepare presentations and agendas for their consideration
- Support compliance with Data Governance policies and standards
- Develop and maintain Data Governance procedures to enable and support franchises in the business units across the enterprise

The range for this position is $86,200 to $143,600. When determining candidate offers, we consider experience, skills, education, certifications, and geographic location among other factors. This job is eligible for an annual discretionary bonus and Kemper benefits (Medical, Dental, Vision, PTO, 401k, etc.)
