Kemper Scholars Internship Program
Kemper Scholars internships will enable you to broaden your understanding of the business, make valuable connections, and set a course for your professional journey with us. You will work on special projects that positively impact our business and our customers. Kemper is looking for students who love to problem solve and are willing to make real-life impact on projects that may involve the senior executives to front-line associates. We deliver meaningful experiences in various internship areas like Product Development, Claims, Operations, Finance, IT, Data Analytics, and much more. Are you ready to create your own journey by joining ours? This is a 10-week paid internship offering challenging projects that support Kemper’s strategic priorities.
Principal Duties And Responsibilities

Principal Duties And Responsibilities
Kemper interns will be exposed to the following concepts and experiences:
- Support the Talent Acquisition Team with a variety of projects.
- Review job descriptions and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Assist with sourcing and screening for qualified candidates.
- Conduct and share research on various topics within Talent Acquisition.
- Attend team meetings and shadow Recruiters during various parts of the interview process.
- Provide direct support to Talent Acquisition as needed.
- Identify opportunities to streamline and improve existing Talent Acquisition processes and procedures to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- Junior or Senior status enrolled at University of Chicago, Northwestern University, University of Wisconsin - Madison, University of Notre Dame
- Qualifying majors in an academic area related to financial services or insurance industry, such as, finance, data analytics, communications, accounting, or business administration.
- Non-business majors are welcome if strong interest in financial services and/or insurance industry.
- A minimum 3.0 GPA on a 4.0 GPA scale.
- This position is a hybrid role and may require work in the office 3-4 days a week.
- This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship.
