Located in Norfolk Virginia, Kempsville Center for Behavioral Health is a leading community partner providing acute, residential, and Partial Hospitalization treatment for children and teens exhibiting behavioral and/or mental health concerns. The hospital is dedicated to providing high quality care to children, adolescents and their families. We provide quality care to children and adolescents in need, using quality, evidence based practice treatments. Founded in 1986, Kempsville Center for Behavioral Health is an 82-bed hospital facility accredited by The Joint Commission (TJC), and licensed by the Commonwealth of Virginia and The Virginia Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental Services (DBHDS). As leading healthcare providers here at Kempsville Center for Behavioral Health, we require all employees to be fully vaccinated. Per CDC guidelines, approved or authorized vaccinations include: Johnson & Johnson Janssen, Moderna, and Pfizer-BioNTech. Position Scope:
The IT Administrator is responsible for maintaining the installation and performance of IT equipment. Provide customer service to facility staff and maintain local support for local area network (LAN). The position includes being the purchasing coordinator for the facility and providing support for maintaining the installation and performance of IT equipment. Provides customer service to facility staff and maintains local support for MS4. Procures, stores, monitors, distributes and inventories supplies for the facility.

- Serves as Local Security Officer (LSO)

Qualifications:

Education and Experience:
Minimum High School Graduate or GED. Associates Degree in information systems related studies preferred, or 4-6 years of comparable experience in the industry. Industry certification (Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MSCE) or A , Network , etc) preferred. Experience with Windows 2008/2012 servers and Windows 10 operating system. Experience supporting Cisco networks and AS/400 emulation preferred. Candidate must possess knowledge of IP protocols, Active Directory, fiber and Ethernet network switches in a corporate Wide Area Network (WAN) environment as well as experience with MS Exchange (Outlook) and MS Office applications.
